Hello, jury! It's me, Isaac. First off, I'd like to commend everyone here (and the pre-jury) for making such an epic season. This was a highly fun time for me and I'm sure it was for others too.
Anyways, I'll start from the beginning. I started on the Barong tribe, and I immediately aligned with Alf. After losing the Immunity Challenge, I aligned with Tyler and Ryan as well. As he's my best friend, I also had some ties to the Rangda tribe via David. Anyways, I discussed with all three allies from Barong about voting off Mike. However, Ian was voted off instead.
So, then Barong lost the next Immunity Challenge. Unfortunately, I forgot to submit that time (this became a recurring feature in my game, oops), and so did Tyler and Trevor. By this point, Trevor was beginning to irritate me a little. During this period, I coaxed David into convincing Rangda to give me Immunity, which worked. I planned to take Trevor out at the next Tribal Council, but once again, something changed, and it was Mike who left.
At this point, Trevor was becoming HIGHLY paranoid. He came to talk to me and asked to form an alliance with me, Alf and Cali. :P I lied, swearing loyalty, as I didn't really have any way out of that situation. Once Double Tribal rolled around, I strongly considered voting Trevor again, and even sent in the vote to Eden. However, for some reason that I don't even remember, I switched to vote KJ and Trevor was voted out anyways. David was also unfortunately voted out from Rangda, which upset me.
Admittedly, I kind of slipped out of it once Rangda truly lost their first Immunity Challenge. Once James was voted out, we switched. I was impressed by how well that swap went; Barong had the numbers advantage. However, this wasn't tested for the next two cycles once Cali was evacuated and Taylor got booted. Unfortunately, though, we had to go to Tribal once again, and we booted out resident inactive: Solar.
Then the merge came. Yay, merge! Now, this was a pivotal part of the game for me. By this point, I had a clue to the Immunity Idol via a Reward given out by Eden. It was an anagram and I got seriously stuck. Luckily, Alf was able to assist me in solving it. So yeah, we had the idol. I asked Marish who Rangda were targeting, and he said KJ. Luckily, he was serious.
This is a part I want to stress, and Eden has proof to back this up. I DID play that idol that night, and I did it before Alf. I assumed that because I told Eden that Alf was giving me permission to use it, that he would count it as my use rather than his. However, he counted it as Alf's idol play, as he was the one to guess the answer correctly. Either way, Kevin was blinsided.
The next week was rather simple. Marish had made a few posts in different groups about his break on the ORG, and I heard from a few people that he had asked to be voted out. I obliged, as did almost everyone else. During this point (or possibly the cycle earlier, idk), the five remaining Barongs formed an official alliance.
Once Alex and Mihai had been taken out, I began to have thoughts of taking Alf out the next chance I could. Little did I know at this point, he had been playing me for a while now. He had told me that Eden hadn't hidden a second idol; when in actuality, he had it. I can't believe I fell for that. Anyways, we learned that Ryan had flipped on us during the Mihai vote, and I talked to Tyler about blindsiding Ryan, and I'm assuming Alf talked to KJ. This plan for once worked, and Ryan was voted out.
By now, I had decided that I wanted Eddie and KJ next to me at the FTC. Eddie had seemed somewhat disconnected from the game and KJ was pretty outspoken and blunt. In order to achieve this dream FTC, I decided now was the time to blinside Alf. Like I said, I had no idea about that idol. So, I talked to Tyler about blindsiding Alf, and he agreed. This admittedly still seems kind of dodgy, as he supposedly knew about the idol too. Anyways, KJ won immunity, and I put my plan in place. Eddie, Tyler and myself all voted Alf, but he used his idol and Eddie was blindsided.
And finally, the last immunity challenge. Goddamn, it was hell. Three buffs and Hold The Button should NEVER be mixed. Anyways, despite my desperation, Alf won and guaranteed himself a spot in the FTC. At this point, Alf and KJ both wanted me to vote for Tyler, but my mind had already been made up. When it came down to it, Tyler had worked with me during my plot against Alf unlike KJ, and I honestly felt he deserved to be up here more. So, I forced a tie and KJ lost the tiebreaker. And, now, it's just the three of us.
Despite my somewhat inactive challenge reputation and my multiple failed plans, I believe I played a strong strategical game and a decent social game. I tried to not make many enemies and only managed to make one in the end, so I believe I was successful in that regard. I'm ready for your questions when you are, guys. :)
